Optima MAX-XP Ultracentrifuge

The Optima MAX-XP model is benchtop preparative ultracentrifuge features advanced software with password-controlled security features, remote control capabilities, and a variety of tracking and archiving features.

Rotor 1

  • compatible with polypropylene sealed tubes with a minimum filling volume of 2 ml usable at a centrifugal force of at least 980,000 x g

Rotor 2

  • maximum angular rotor capacity of at least 6 x 29 ml
  • compatible with polypropylene sealed tubes with a minimum filling volume of 29 ml usable at a centrifugal force of at least 230 000 x g

Tube cutting equipment

The equipment can be placed on a table. It contains a concealed knife blade which can be used to cut thin-walled centrifuge tubes of various diameters from 8 to 25 mm. The knife blade is also used to facilitate the separation by centrifugation of separated zones or supernatant and sediment.
